I’ve lived and breathed sport my entire life, from an early football career to years in strength and conditioning. Alongside that path, I became the only coach in the UK to spend over 100 days in meditation silence, an experience that continues to shape the way I work with both mind and body.
As a meditation teacher, I draw on time spent at Vipassana and Amaravati temple with monks. Practices such as Surya Namaskar (morning salutation), Anapana (awareness of breath), and Vipassana (awareness of body sensation) sit at the heart of my approach. I bring these together with recovery, breathwork, yoga, and strength training to create a foundation for lasting performance.
I hold a wide range of qualifications from swimming to personal training to triathlon coaching, but my work isn’t defined by certificates. What makes my approach unique is the way I connect it all: performance, strength and conditioning, meditation, yoga, triathlon, and self-awareness. For me, the body and mind are inseparable, and true growth comes when both are trained in harmony.
My methods include exposure therapy, where athletes face difficulties directly, supported by Non-Violent Communication, CBT principles, reflective listening, and shadow work, which explores the parts of the self that have been repressed. Through this, I’ve helped many athletes overcome sports-related anxiety, stress, and self-doubt, while teaching them how to regulate emotions and build resilience.
That is also why I created a clothing brand called Mindfulsubmerge and a triathlon club called Unbroken. When I spent time around different clubs, I noticed something was missing. There was always a push to run faster, cycle harder, or swim longer, but the depth was missing. The mind was often left behind. I built Unbroken to bring that depth back, a place where athletes can train with structure, but also learn presence, resilience, and balance. Both Mindfulsubmerge and Unbroken carry the same intention: to give people a place they can call home, where they can explore their potential in a safe and supportive environment.
Beyond coaching, I’m a father of four. Much of my life revolves around supporting my children, navigating the balance between being an athlete and being fully present at home. In my spare time, I’m also a composer, and many of my songs have been featured across social media.
